Tox in Candler

Before and After treatment with Dysport

Botox and Xeomin work by relaxing the tiny muscles that cause wrinkles in and around your face.

The lines between your eyebrows AKA “11 lines” are caused by muscles scrunching your face when you frown or move your face.

Stubborn forehead wrinkles and crow’s feet? Those are also caused by muscle movement.

Tox treatments create a temporary relaxation of these muscles so they can’t move and can’t make the lines and wrinkles.

Tox is great to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and is one of the only aesthetic treatments that is truly preventive.

So ditch the smoothing filters on IG and Snapchat and let your true self shine through with Tox today!

Botox FAQ

How do I know if I need Botox?

The truth is no one really needs Botox or any neurotoxin treatment, just like you don’t need to get your hair, nails, or brows done.

But the other truth is, fine lines and wrinkles make many people feel self-conscious and feel like they look older than they actually are.

Neurotoxins reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on your forehead, between your eyebrows (glabella), around your eyes, and even near your mouth for some people.

If you’re constantly filtering out lines and wrinkles in your pictures, you’d probably benefit from Botox.

When will I see the results of my Botox treatment?

Botox takes 5-7 days to start working and 2 weeks to fully kick in. If you’re planning to go on a trip or have an event coming up – book your Botox at least two weeks in advance.

How long does Botox last?

Botox lasts 3-4 months for the average person. People who exercise and sweat a lot tend to notice the Botox has worn off slightly sooner. This is because their bodies can break down or metabolize the Botox faster.

If you get Botox regularly, over time you will notice it will last longer and you will need less each time. This means you eventually pay less and less for the same results!

Does Botox hurt?

The needles we use for Botox are very, very tiny and we use specific techniques to make sure they are extremely sharp. This means you barely feel the pinprick of the needle.

You may feel a slight burning sensation for a few seconds while the Botox is being injected, but this goes away as soon as your treatment is finished.

There is little to no downtime with Botox making it a great lunch break or after work treatment. You can apply makeup and skin care products the next day without anyone knowing you had a Botox treatment.

What are the risks of Botox?

There can be slight bruising with Botox treatments that can last a day or two. Avoiding alcohol the day before and the day of as well as medications that contain aspirin or ibuprofen (like Motrin) if you can will help reduce this risk.

As with anything penetrating the skin, there is a risk for infection but by following medical protocols, this risk is greatly minimized.

How much is Botox?

Botox and Dysport are both $13 per unit. Every one needs a different amount of Botox depending on the area treated so the pricing will be different for each person. The best way to know how much your Botox will cost is to book a FREE consultation and our nurse practitioner will assess your muscles and give you a price point for your Botox treatment.
